Community Service Work-Alongs

Chick-fil-A's Rise to the Occasion Food Drive
March 17, 2009

Mayor Dyer worked hand-in-hoof with the Chick-fil-A cow as they collected non-perishable food items in front of City Hall for Chick-fil-A's Rise to the Occasion Food Drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. As part of Mayor Dyer's Strengthen Orlando plan, he committed to hosting Community Service Work-Alongs to encourage residents to participate in volunteer opportunities. More than 370 non-perishable food items were collected.
